The project created by Patricia Bagniewski is called “Housing” and has a strong social meaning. Housing should be a common right but, with growing overpopulation and migration to the big cities, it has become a luxury since people is getting more and more indebted with banks to face the constantly rising prices.
“Housing” is realized with 21 glass blown houses hanging from the roof. They seem to be flying, giving a sense of lightness and liberty. However, these houses are chained, unable to move, over inflated from inside their own metal structure, looking like they are about to explode. This contrast is enhanced by the transparency of glass, which transports the viewer inside the houses, making him feel imprisoned.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” onclick=”link_image” custom_links_target=”_self” interval=”3″ images=”1746,1749,1750,1751,1754″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
