Scouting Tank: Platform for young artists

A cycle of meetings dedicated to sharing the research paths of selected young artists introduced by contemporary art practitioners, able to account for the emergence of new languages, viewpoints and visions that deserve attention. Scuoting Tank is a project born within the Radical cycle with a double purpose. On the one hand, promoting young artists by fostering their knowledge among the experts, on the other, creating a source of selected individuals from which to draw for future projects. Meetings will be organized periodically in the spaces of Fondazione Berengo at Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti in Venice, with the presentation of a limited number of artists proposed by art practitioners, such as curators, gallery owners, teachers, critics, collectors and artist, that are able to see their potentials. Each meeting aims to focus attention on one or more works that characterize the most recent production of each artist, delineating through them the first symptoms of a poetics. Scouting Tank is part of the series of exhibitions started on December 7th with Linea di Principio by Nemanja Cvijanović & Giovanni Morbin, curated by Daniele Capra. The entire project aims to promote free research in the contemporary field, through an exhibition space capable of hosting in-depth and information sharing meetings aimed at operators, artists and students. The desire is to create, in the heart of Venice, a point of production and promotion of thought, which intersects the plans of professionalism with those of education, that of research with that of contemporary phenomena, not necessarily related to the scope of art, but belonging to the broader field of culture.
